In summertime, the lake invites you to enjoy its 26-degree temperatures. There are even a number of lakeside lidos and plenty of natural swimming areas along the shoreline. Thanks to Lake Constance’s excellent water quality, the entire family will love swimming and splashing around here. While the spacious Bregenz lakeside lido is a paradise for families, “Mili,” the venerable old pool on wooden stakes is a swimming area for those who appreciate a bit more peace and quiet. The adjacent lakeshore area boasts a beach for all ages with a new swimming jetty. Holidays at Lake Constance in Vorarlberg!

"Mili" - the erstwhile military swimming pool
A building made of wooden stakes, it is one of the last two swimming pools of its kind on the whole Lake Constance, May - September daily, circa. 10am - 8pm -

Lake Constance’s outstanding water quality
“Outstanding water quality” – This is the verdict according to health authorities when testing the quality of Lake Constance’s water at recognised swimming spots at regular intervals. As a consequence, Lake Constance, as an outstanding representative of the Alpine lakes, offers exactly what holidaymakers, day tourists and locals expect when the weather is nice: pure swimming pleasure.
The International Commission for the Protection of Lake Constance (IGKB) is responsible for monitoring the condition of the lake and, if necessary, taking measures to ensure that the water is comprehensively protected for future generations.

How deep is Lake Constance at my current position? Answers to these questions are available thanks to the newly developed Lake Constance web app, which is being developed and operated by the IGKB and Wasserwirtschaft Vorarlberg (State of Vorarlberg).
